The guests and employees of the Kleinheubach day care centre were delighted to receive a visit from Canon Clemens Bieber, Director of the Diocesan Caritas Association in Würzburg, and Bastian Graber, Director of the Kurhaus Hotel Bad Bocklet. They had a generous donation of €4,000 in their luggage. This sum was raised through the guests' ecologically sensible decision to forego daily room cleaning.
The Kurhaus Bad Bocklet is part of the Caritas facilities run by Caritas in Lower Franconia. Guests of all ages, especially Caritas employees, are invited there to recharge their batteries away from their private and professional lives. The Ayurveda programmes on offer there are unique in Germany and provide the perfect time-out.
The guests and employees of the Kleinheubach day care centre, which is part of the Caritas association for the district of Miltenberg e.V., can look forward to a "G-WEG" thanks to the donation. This will be rolled out like a carpet and integrated into the daily routine of the day care centre with immediate effect. Various exercises, tailored to the possible limitations of the guests, will increase their sure-footedness and reduce the risk of falling. Heinrich Almritter, Chairman of the District Caritas Association, and Claudia Sorger, Head of Nursing at the day care centre, expressed their sincere thanks for the donation, which is also a sign of the good cooperation in the Lower Franconian Caritas landscape.
After the handover, the guests from Würzburg and Bad Bocklet were able to see the effect of the "G-WEG" for themselves, as the guests from the day care centre immediately enjoyed practising how to walk safely on the new equipment.
