G-WEG and MÜNCHENSTIFT GmbH are launching a joint prevention project in nine senior living facilities in Munich

More Joy in Life for Older Adults!

The focus is on a cluster-based training program for staff members from nine senior living facilities —supplemented by the widespread implementation of the G-WEG fall prevention system across all facilities.

The goal of the project is to specifically reduce residents’ risk of falling and to sustainably strengthen their independence in daily life. Falls are among the most common health risks in older adults and can have drastic consequences for quality of life, independence, and the need for care. The scientifically based G-WEG concept addresses this issue directly: through targeted movement training, exercises relevant to daily life, and regular training, the risk of falls is significantly reduced.

As part of the partnership, all participating facilities were equipped with a complete G-WEG system. G-WEG training can now begin at all nine locations.

“Through the G-WEG cluster training program, we are investing in our employees’ professional skills—and thus directly in the health of our residents.” “We view this partnership as part of a sustainable care and health strategy. Thanks to the G-WEG training program, our employees are optimally prepared to effectively and regularly integrate the exercises into their daily routines. The rollout has shown just how much potential lies in targeted physical activity promotion—not only for our residents, but also for our teams,” explains Sebastian Rokita, Project Manager at Münchenstift.

The cluster training program trains so-called “multipliers,” who serve as qualified points of contact within their respective facilities. These multipliers also use the digital G-WEG training platform to share their knowledge with their own teams and provide hands-on, on-site training to employees. “By combining in-person training, online learning, and system implementation, we create optimal conditions for comprehensive, structured, and sustainable fall prevention across Münchenstift’s facilities. This collaboration demonstrates how prevention and care can go hand in hand. It proves that our method is scalable—even within a corporate group with multiple facilities. This form of integrated collaboration is exactly what G-WEG stands for: prevention with a systematic approach, impact, and structure. We are pleased to work together with Münchenstift to help preserve joy of life and independence in old age,” emphasizes Ulla Schlösser, Managing Director of G-WEG GmbH in Lippstadt.
