The G-WEG system is now being used for fall prevention at the Caritas Center in Attendorn. Elke Kruse and Petra Nietsch, staff members at the Caritas Day Care Center in Attendorn, were so impressed by this concept after attending a joint G-WEG training session that they were able to win over the Friends of the Caritas Center in Attendorn, and as a result, the G-WEG system was promptly purchased for the center.
The fall prevention system was then officially presented by board member Anja Geuecke to the day care center’s guests on behalf of all the center’s residents. As “Hettwich from Himmelsberg,” she tested the system together with the guests under the guidance of Elke Kruse and Petra Nietsch—in “Hettwich’s style,” of course—and was immediately convinced by the concept.
“As a proven therapeutic tool, the G-WEG provides optimal support for the concept of maintaining and promoting mobility in long-term care,” said Ute Griese, director of nursing services at the Caritas Day Care Center in Attendorn.
